March 12, 2010. “Could a politician with Z class security, who left behind safety of bullet proof car and roamed into the street to prove a point, is hard to imagine but this is happening now and we all know that he is Rahul Gandhi,” said Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, while deliberating on the topic ‘reality vs idealism’ at a conclave of the India Today on Saturday in New Delhi...
“Why can’t these two (reality and idealism) come together,” queried Kapoor, adding that today this is happening all around, as idealism is becoming a reality. Talking about young M.S. Dhoni, he said that this cricketer turned idealism into reality by winning the T-20 World Cup.
Another shining example where one could see merger of idealism into reality, is youngsters in more number moving ahead in various spheres of life. Talking about Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Kapoor told the gathering at the conclave that young politicians like Rahul Gandhi with full commitment and sincerity are needed, to give a new impetus for all round development in the country.
